Jesse first picked up a hammer at 14, working hard in construction.
He started with mason and foundation work, dreaming of something bigger.
His dad challenged him, saying, “Wire your own room if you want electricity.”
With no choice, Jesse’s hands learned the language of wires.
His dad’s encouraged him to become an electrician saying, “Being an electrician is good, clean work.”
Seeking his path, Jesse joined the military as a police officer.
In Iraq, amidst the chaos, he found peace in wiring buildings, tents, and generators.
In 2008, he returned to the USA working jobs driving trucks and doing security.
But the world of electrical work closed its doors on his military skills.
His military electrician credentials were not accepted back in the states.
Jesse, resilient and hopeful, started from scratch as an apprentice.
Every day, he grew stronger and more skilled, refusing to give up.
His passion led him to teach an electrical class at a community college for 5 years.
He shared his knowledge, learning more about electrical work at home.
